Position Description
In EAA studios, we aim to maintain a practice focused on “situation”. According to this design approach, each and every element of a design is connected one another to constitute complete integration with context. In this sense, we believe that interior design is a continuation of architecture. As such, they are implicitly integrated under meticulous attention to increase the quality of end user experience. In this regard, we are looking for talented and enthusiastic Interior Designers to work at the EAA Firenze Studio who can understand the connection between interior design and architecture in EAA’s design approach.


Job Description
- Comprehending the design project,
- Generating and revising drawings, models, images, material & mood boards and other documents associated with the design, when needed,
- Contributing to interior design ideas and schemes by integrating interdisciplinary criteria to effectively improve designs of the projects,
- Contributing to the management of the internal design team by assisting when required,
- Supporting, if not assisting, when needed.


Responsibilities
- Collaborating with Project Teams, Project Leaders, and Design Partner,
- Contacting and collaborating with other stakeholders and/or clients regarding the course of design,
- Enriching design ideas through technical maneuvers and efficiently using proper tools to investigate, create and document.


Minimum Qualifications
- A relevant professional degree in interior design or architecture,
- 5+ years of experience after graduation, focused particularly on Interiors,
- Strong design, 2D and 3D modeling skills,
- High level proficiency of Sketchup, AutoCAD, Lumion, and Adobe Suite skills,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English,
- Experience in working in collaborative environment to develop project documentation,
- Having an artistic talent, professional skill, and enthusiasm for architectural interior depiction,
- Working with minimal supervision, acting well individually and in teams, sharing information and supporting colleagues,
- Having built and published project experience is a plus.
- High level of graphical understanding with ability to communicate ideas effectively.
- Innovative, problem-solver, attentive,
- Being precise and perfect at tasks,
- Familiarity with industrial procedures, international regulations, and production details,
- Strong time management, good prioritization, team player,
- Enthusiastic, proactive, self-motivated, effective under pressure, and flexible,
- Having no restriction to travel.
